Surf School
Never surfed? Don’t worry we’ll teach you all the moves. Come join us at our surf school where we’ll teach you all about the technique, equipment, environment and safety. Come and enjoy surfing in Iceland.
After we have taught you all the fundamentals you can try out the waves and practice your new skill. We will be surfing by Þorlákshöfn which is about 50 km from Reykjavik. This black sand beach is a top notch surfing spot for both beginners and advanced surfers.

Note
Once we see a good day for surf, we send out a notification to our waiting list with 2-4 days notice. Maximum participants are 14 and minimum 8. Ideally we go out when the weather- and surf-forecast are suitable for beginners. That is winds, wave height/force as well as the tides.
To go on the waiting list you´ll have to book any day here on our website and send us a short email telling us what days will suit you best.
We try and go out on weekends.
Weather
The school is weather dependent and we do not surf if the waves are too small or too big as it might be dangerous or no fun. We know this within two days prior to the surf school lesson. If the conditions are not as expected to operate the school you will get the chance to join the school again free of charge.
