Tour description

This is the ultimate experience for those who truly want to understand the complexities of Silfra and lava tube formations.  Starting off in Reykjavik, your guide for the day will introduce you to the secluded lava tube known as Leidarendi.  Here you will learn about the intricacies of lava tube formations as you´ll be inside one witnessing it first hand.

Thereafter we will head out to Silfra Fissure, situated in Þingvellir National Park a UNESCO World Heritage site.  You will discover the secret of the cave and be able to fully appreciate the Diving tour as you will be able to easily grasp how Silfra truly is one of the most unique dive sites in the world.  This is because Silfra is fed with subterranean glacial spring water across a 50km stretch for decades, filtering slowly through porous igneous volcanic lava tubes just like the one you will see at the start of the day.
